Welcome to our second tokenholder update. In this issue we focus on the mobile onboarding app!
As outlined in January, in order to participate in the token-equity swap, MOD tokenholders will have to go through an onboarding process. We are working on a mobile app to simplify the process. This app will be your one-stop-shop: the KYC process will be handled directly in the app via Onfido, which means that no call center sessions will be needed. You will also be able to change your address, check the status of the swap, and access the terms directly on your mobile device. The app will be available for both iOS and Android.
The features are now being finalized and we plan to perform the first tests as of mid-March. For this test run it would be great if we can count on your help. So, if you are interested in being part of the beta-tester team, please fill in this form and we will reach out to you once the app is ready for testing. We will put together a mix of beta-testers based on operating systems and device types, to ensure the wide usability of the onboarding app – and reach out in due time.
After the test run is over and the bug fixes are implemented, we plan to release the app in the second quarter of 2020 – provided that the relevant clearance, including regulatory, of all swap details has been obtained.
On a more administrative note: We have updated the token information section on our website to reflect the current situation of the MODtoken. In detail this means we have:
- removed the list of exchanges
- updated the FAQ (adapted question #4 (How can I buy MOD tokens) and adapted question #7 (Will the token be listed on more exchanges?)).
For those of you who have signed up for the Modum Company Update: it will be sent out on 29 February, for all the others: See you in a month’s time.
We wish you a good day!
The Modum Team
